(PRWEB) June 2, 2004 -- California author Diana L. Guerrero will participate in the biggest book event in the United States June 3-6, 2004.
Book Expo America is attended by the "who's who" of the book industry. This year the expo will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
Over 2,000 exhibitors, 1,200 publishers, 500 authors, and 1,000 media members will attend. In addition, booksellers from all over the United States will converge in Chicago for previews to new and exciting titles of books ready to hit the shelves.
Guerrero will be amidst the weekend jungle of bibliophiles in her newest safari hat covered with animals. She says she is trying to tame things down, but her book is going wild and is about to go into second printing.
When asked about it Guerrero said, The book captivates people with the animal stories. They meet wild and domestic animals and glean tips about behavior, training, and the secrets to better animal relationships, communication, personality--and are introduced to the controversial topic of animal souls."
Guerrero has done more than 75 appearances throughout southern California since November. She said, "The word of mouth has spread. Fans and booksellers keep me touring and I have a great time meeting them at different events like the Book Expo."
Guerreros book, "What Animals Can Teach Us about Spirituality" has attracted more than just local attention, large newspapers all over the nation have discussed the book and the text is now being distributed in the UK and Canada.
The armchair adventure was birthed from her attendance at Book Expo America in New York. The book process was unique for several reasons. She said, "Most books take several years to produce and appear in the market. I wrote this manuscript in three and a half months and the book was for sale within 11 months after I signed the contract."
Guerrero says she is on the hunt for another publisher for a non-spiritual manuscript, but will be promoting this book with her publisher in booth 1015.
