Internet Babies Reach Puberty: What Does That Mean To Your Business?

There is a sleeping giant about to launch a surprise attack on brick and mortar businesses-the Internet Babies. Since the first Internet hub was installed in September 1969 more than 118,818,602 million American (2000 census) children were born into a super-fast growing technological age, which keeps growing every day. (PRWEB) August 6, 2004 -- There is a sleeping giant about to launch a surprise attack on brick and mortar businesses-the Internet Babies. Since the first Internet hub was installed in September 1969 more than 118,818,602 million American (2000 census) children were born into a super-fast growing technological age, which keeps growing every day. Maureen OCrean, MBA is studying this phenomenon and what it means to traditional businesses and entrepreneurs.

In 1993, when my son was 2, there were about 400,000 Internet sites in the world. In 1995 when he was 5, there were 16 million users of the internet and this year, when he and his 20 million or so future-consuming cohort turned 13, there were 785 million users of the Internet (Internet World Stats)", stated OCrean, creator of Success Grows Seminars. My sons generation, and all that follow are practically born with a mouse in their hands and Mom, can I log onto xyz.com to buy..." on their lips. In the next 5 years, when these teenagers come of age most businesses and entrepreneurs wont know what happened if they dont embrace their internet presence as a capital investment in their future today," continued OCrean and she is on a mission to change that outcome.

OCrean believes that its not just about having a website; it is about having a sound business strategy for your web presence that reaches a local and global economy. The 2002 Membership Survey of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) reported 70% of their members have a business website but only 23% use it to sell their goods or services directly to customers. A good start thinks OCrean, but not enough to catch the wave thats coming.

A modern day Rainmaker" Maureen is taking her message across the country, starting in at 6 pm on August 12th at the Double Tree Hotel in Santa Monica, CA by running an affordable ($79) 3 hour hands-on training entitled, 5 ^More Secrets of the Internet to Grow Your Business (and the first 5 are Free) for small businesses and entrepreneurs. She is partnering with membership organizations, like NEW Entrepreneurs, The For You Network, chambers, etc. to bring this critical training to their members at a discounted rate.

The most important secret for any business to learn is strategy¾Why Milk and Cookies represents a great strategic alliance and why Bacon and Eggs is a bad alliance for more than just the pig," states OCrean. Sign up for our Free Special Report at www.successgrows.com
