Jonelle Marie Breaks 200,000 Music Download Mark

DSN Music Announces the 200,000 download for Jonelle Marie's "Not Your Doll" mp3 single.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) November 26, 2005 -- DSN Music, a service of the Digital Syndicate Network, announces the 200,000 mp3 download of the single "Not Your Doll" by pop music artist Jonelle Marie. The Chicago based singer and songwriter has achieved a large following via the internet since the launch of her debut release "Listen", produced by Bobby Scumaci. The mp3 single has been provided free for download since late 2004, and has grown in popularity in 2005 including radio airplay across the United States, as well as XM Satellite Radio.

Following the success from her online hit Jonelle was chosen to join the Next American Superstar, a national talent search contest between some of America's top new female artists. "Not only have I been given the opportunity to work with many other talented artists and play great venues such as Gilley’s in Dallas, I have also learned so much about the entertainment industry" said Marie. "My musical career has been such a blessing in my life. Since I was a young girl, it was apparent that the stage was my home. Music has been and continues to be my passion, my love, my life. I am constantly striving to succeed and constantly challenging myself. My music is a way of life for me and I wouldn't have it any other way."

Jonelle is one of many new artists who have seen their careers launched over the Internet -"The web is such an amazing way to promote music and be heard, the Digital Syndicate Network has truly mastered the art of this. It has made the difference of my music being heard on a local level vs. being heard on a global level.. that is huge!" Jonelle is currently in the studio working on her next release, and leading to the finals of the Next American SuperStar as she announced during her interview with Dave Nemo on XM Radio.

Scott Bergevin, who was recently tapped as head of DSN Music stated "I look forward to the challenge, and to working with rising stars like Jonelle Marie. As a musician in a working band, I appreciate the hard work and devotion these artists have put into their craft, and excited about working with these and future artists at DSN." Bergevin replaces Michael DeRose, who was promoted to head DSN Radio, LLC.

Jonelle Marie's "Listen" album has also released several other online hits including "Stronger", and "Sweet Heartache". DSN Music has just released the holiday single "Oh Holy Night" from Jonelle Marie, which was co-produced by her husband and veteran musician Eric Price.
