Arun Agrawal: What is your business?
Kirk Bachelder: We specialize in wholesale sunglasses, including all hot fashion trends, sports styles and childrens sunglasses. We also sell accessories and displays.
AA: How long are you doing this business?
KB: We have been in the sunglass business for over 20 years. I started out in retail venues such as malls, fairs and festivals and then graduated to this wholesale business.
AA: Why did you start a wholesale sunglasses business?
KB: We chose to start a wholesale sunglass business because of the knowledge that we had in the retail business of sunglasses. We know that styles are constantly changing and because of that, we are able to offer the newest trends and hottest styles on the market today.
AA: What factors do you think have contributed to your success?
KB: I attribute my success to fanatical customer service and a large collection of models and designs. We go out of our way to keep the customer happy.
Having sold sunglasses at retail venues for so many years, I have picked up the ability and knowledge needed to choose only the best quality and styles. This has lead to our great success as a wholesale company.
AA: Tell us about some interesting incident that happened while dealing with a customer.
KB: Recently, a customer called us and asked if we could ship his order so that he would receive it the next day and we did. He was very surprised because he had been dealing with another online wholesale sunglass company who would take 2-3 days just to process his orders. He is now a regular customer and orders from us weekly.
AA: Can you tell us about some pitfalls of doing replica sunglass business?
