Shortage of Doctors and Other Clinicians is Addressed in 4-Part Healthcare Recruiting Audio Conference Series

(PRWEB) September 13, 2005 -- The shortage of doctors in the U.S. is expected to reach 90,000 and the current nurse shortage is expected to top 800,000 nurses by 2020, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). In fact, the American Medical Association reports that currently more than 20 percent of all active physicians in the U.S. today are international medical graduates (IMGs).
