Join us on Sunday, October 2nd for the 8th annual fall car show in Kingwood Town Center. The title sponsor for this years event is Doctor Larrys Automotive Specialists, and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Bush Clinton Katrina Relief Fund. This years event will also feature a canned food drive to support the Houston Food Bank in its Katrina Relief efforts. Join thousands of residents and visitors to marvel at hundreds of hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, classics, monster trucks, bikes, and custom rides as they converge on Town Center Park in Kingwood, Texas. Last springs car show featured over 200 vehicles.
Now in its eight year, this event runs from noon to 6 PM, and will feature live entertainment by Soul to Soul and lots of activities for the kids. Stroll through and around beautiful Town Center Park while enjoying great food, sweets and treats. If you cant make this event, mark your calendar as The Kingwood Car Show is held twice yearly -- Spring and Fall.

This years event will again be hosted by Sparky Nolan, President of the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce.

This year we have a great opportunity to have our community Car Show benefit the victims of Katrina," said Ty Eckley of the Town Center Merchant Association. We are expecting a great turnout and an enormous number of absolutely stunning vehicles at the show."

We are actively seeking sponsors and vendors for this great event," said Suzanne Juel of Kingwood Event Coordinators. Sponsorship and vendor information is available at the event website at http://www.kwtowncenterevents.com We are only accepting vendors who have an auto related product. Regular vendor booths are only $50, while food booths are $100. Sponsorships start at $50."

One of the highlights of the show is the collectable T-Shirt, as each years Car Show T-Shirt features original art by a local artist. The show also features over 30 Best-In-Class Car awards, including numerous peoples choice awards.

One of the most popular things about this show is that the attendees get to choose almost half the award winners. Each attendee can submit a ballot to vote for their favorite vehicle, and the Peoples Choice awards are always the most sought-after awards of the show," said Eckley.

Applications are now being accepted for vehicles to display in the show and are available on the event website at http://www.kwtowncenterevents.com. Early registration is $35 per vehicle for non-commercial displays.

The 8th Annual Kingwood Spring Car Show is scheduled for Sunday, October 2nd, 2005, with a rain date of October 9th. Hours for the event are Noon -- 6 PM. Parking and admission are free. The award ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM.
