Palm Desert, CA (PRWEB) October 16, 2006 -- It’s Just Lunch, the premier dating service for busy professionals, asked 2,410 singles about the top Halloween trends and found that 44% of singles think going solo to a Halloween costume party is a good idea.

“When picking your costume, remember to stay away from the scary and super sexy ones,” said Alana Beyer, Vice President of It’s Just Lunch. “The majority of singles, 91% of women and 81% of men, think it’s much easier to approach someone dressed in a funny or original costume rather than a scary or sexy one.”

For the 48% of singles that would go to a Halloween costume party on a first date, It’s Just Lunch suggest the following couples costume ideas:

1. Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler in prison uniforms
2. Mel Gibson and a local bar townie
3. Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb
