Australia's Most Exclusive Bar 'De Nom' Lifts its No Photograph Ban to Welcome Home Miss World AsiaPacific
De Nom, the long-awaited third floor of Ruby Rabbit in Darlinghurst, opened its doors with fanfare fit for not a queen -- but our very own Miss World Australia and a guest list to match.
(PRWEB) October 16, 2006 -- De Nom, the long-awaited third floor of Ruby Rabbit in Darlinghurst, opened its doors with fanfare fit for not a queen -- but our very own Miss World Australia and a guest list to match.
This Palace of Versailles-themed room with 23-carat-gold gilded furniture, bartenders in bow ties and blazers and cocktail waitresses in ball gown was the only room fit for our very own Miss World Asia Pacific, Sabrina Houssami. With space for just 80 guests, this exclusive room gathered many of Australia’s hottest Designers, Charity Executives, elite Media and Miss World candidates to welcome Sabrina home.
De Nom even lifted its bar on its strict “no photographs” policy to ensure Sabrina Houssami, the Sydney University student who came third in the famous Miss World pageant received the attention she deserved. Rumour has it that Mick Jagger was recently denied photographs in the members only venue likened to the exclusive Milk and Honey in NY and London.
Designer Guests including MaraJoara, Samantha Wills, How.U.C.Me, Davis Eyes and Culture Shock relaxed with our Australian Beauty in style, delighting in the decadence and sipping the finest sparklings and wine from Brown Brothers new summer range. However the pleasure will be short lived with many of the guests unlikely to see De Nom again for some time with the launch of De Nom’s exclusive $10,000 a pop membership program available to only 100 members.
Miss World relaxed in style after arriving home that afternoon from her month-long tour of Poland. Sabrina has returned to Australia to crown the first Mr World, to continue her charity fundraising for Variety and Challenge and attend the Spring/Racing Carnival.
