Dr. Ted began is fitness and martial arts training at the age of 14 1/2 while in Jr. High and has averaged doing 300 sit ups a day for the last 45 years, and now plans on doing his 5 millionth Sit Up on his birthday, hopefully on a National TV show.

Dr. Ted has a body that would be the envy of a 20 year old and of course has a six pack. He is often mistaken for people 1/2 his age and still works out daily at his local health club and trains on average 2 hours a day. 7 days a week. He is in dozens of Martial Arts Hall of Fame's and has been on national TV, radio and in newspapers many times during his career.

Ted believes that anyone can look great, feel great, be strong, vibrant, healthy, and sexy for a lifetime. He is a World Famous Fitness/Martial Arts Author and Speaker and has just finished a new book    6 Pack At 60, along with the instructional DVD.

Here is how I got the 6 million sit ups

I averaged doing 300 sit ups a day for the last 45 ½ years. I started doing karate and lifting weights when I was 14 ½ years old

On many days I did much more, but I averaged 300 a day for 109,500 a year. Times 45 ½ years for a total of 4,982,250, leaving me about 17,750 short of doing 5 Million. So Starting Today Jan 24, 2008. I am doing 554 Sit ups a day. So that on my birthday. I will have done 5,000,000

Ted Gambordella will have done 5 Million Sit Ups when he turns 60 on Feb. 22 2008. He would like to do his 5 millionth sit up Live on a TV Show.
