Imperial Jets Arranges Tom Watson Private Jet Charter Flight on Lear 45

Imperial Jets arranged private jet travel for legendary golfer, Tom Watson, following the Manhattan Golf Classic on Governor's Island, last Sunday. Watson flew out of New Jersey's Teterboro Airport on a Lear 45 after teaming up with Donald Trump to defeat Golf Digest's #1 female Golfer, Annika Sorenstam, and golf poster girl, Natalie Gulbis in a pro-am skins game.

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 3, 2006 -- Tom Watson flew out of New Jersey's Teterboro Airport, October 22, 2006, on a Lear 45 private jet, whose charter was sponsored by Imperial Jets, the official private jet charter company of the Mahattan Golf Classic.

The flight was originally scheduled to depart at 5:30 pm, to give Watson two hours to get to Teterboro Airport, following his win over Sorenstam and Gulbis at 3:30 pm. But Watson was stuck in traffic in the Lincoln Tunnel for an additional hour, so Mark Fleischmann, an Imperial Jets private jet charter broker, had to push the flight back to 6:30 pm.

"Due to the traffic in the tunnel, we changed the departure time for later in the evening to accommodate Mr. Watson," remarked Fleischmann. Overall, "He loved the plane; he had a very good experience."

Watson enjoyed the Lear 45's 4.8 ft high and 5.1 ft wide cabin, allowing for one of the most spacious passenger compartments in this aircraft's class. The Lear 45's plush black leather seats faced each other to grant Watson a better sociable flight experience. A dining table stood between two facing seats to ease reading and dining, flying at 526 miles per hour. The windows lined the seating to unveil the celestial view at 50,000 ft above the earth's surface.

The flight touched down at Olathe New Century airport in Kansas at about 8:20 pm, Sunday evening, where Watson lives on his ranch.

Arrange equivalent luxurious travel arrangements with Imperial Jets to secure your private jet charter when and where you decide.
