The Hacker Academy Announces 'Midnight Hacker' Classes

Like other information security training companies, The Hacker Academy offers standard five day "white hat" hacking courses and on-site training, but now comes an interesting twist ... "Midnight Hacking."

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 30, 2006 -- Like other information security training companies, The Hacker Academy offers standard five day "white hat" hacking courses and on-site training, but now comes an interesting twist… "Midnight Hacking." "Why do we need to put a limit on learning," says Aaron Cohen, President of The Hacker Academy. "Both current and prospective students have called for a more time and cost effective way to learn how to think like a hacker and Midnight Hacking could be the answer."

Unlike standard courses, the class will begin at 9pm and end sometime after midnight for two thorough nights of ethical hacker training. This class is designed to allow the busy IT professional who is unable to get away from the office for a full week or can't secure budget to pay for a weeks worth of training to have a better working knowledge of real time security attacks and how defend against them.

The Hacker Academy is set to offer their first Midnight Hacker class in January through a live webcast where lead instructor Ralph Echemendia will cover topics from social engineering to the latest types of attacks and how to defend against them." Many attacks take place in the twilight hours so it seems like midnight would be the best time to learn how to get into the mind of a hacker," says Echemendia.

Echemendia has a strong background in training both military and corporations around the world.

There are students both in the United States and around the world that are looking for a new avenue to learn information security and The Hacker Academy seems to have made this possible through Midnight Hacking. Prices range from $700-$1000 for 2 nights of training, and those that take this training are able to apply a portion of the cost towards any 5 day class. Many system administrators, networking and information security professionals are night owls, so this will be a very constructive use of their time.

The Hacker Academy has all current class offerings including Midnight Hacking available on their website www.thehackeracademy.com as well as bios on their world renowned instructors. "Delivering quality courses at a fair price is what we are strive toward in setting a higher standard for ethical hacker training," says Cohen.
