wikiFido.com Hosts Holiday Photo Contest for Dogs
Dog owners who submit holiday pictures of their dog at www.wikifido.com can win prizes from Kong Pet Toys and PetSmart
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) December 11, 2006 -- wikiFido (www.wikifido.com), the dog lover's guide to dogs and dog rescue, invites dog owners to submit pictures of their dog decked out in holiday finery for its Holiday Photo Contest for Dogs. First place for the most festive holiday outfit or scene featuring a dog will be awarded a gift basket from Kong Pet Toys and a $50 gift certificate to PetSmart. Second, third, fourth and fifth place winners will also receive a gift basket from Kong, which has a retail value of $100. In addition, the winning dogs' pictures will be featured prominently on the wikiFido.com home page.
Because wikiFido is a user-generated site, visitors can post their dog pictures directly to the site. All dog pictures submitted before midnight (PST) Dec. 27, 2006, will be eligible for the contest. A select group of wikiFido users will judge the field of entrants and award prizes on Jan. 2, 2007. The winners will be notified by email, so all contestants must first register for a free account before posting their photos. (Existing wikiFido members must be signed in to participate.)
