They were married in a Greek Orthodox wedding in Oia, Santorini, which will soon be available on the DVD entitled "A Greek Islands Wedding."

Cynthia's Greek-Italian background is from the former ancient Greek colony of Beneviento, in Southern Italy. In addition, "Daddona" derives from "Dodona", the ancient Greek city in Northwestern Greece (Epirus), where legend has it the goddess Athena whispered to mortals through the wind in the sacred oak trees.

Today, Cynthia is the author of Diary of a Modern Day Goddess, a top selling guide for creating a more nurturing life through lighthearted essays and wellness tips ($10.95). It is published by HCI, (Heath Communications, Inc.) who also publishes The Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
