Stellar House Publishing Releases "Who Was Jesus? Fingerprints of The Christ" for Worldwide Distribution

Controversial new book uses "CSI-style" approach to investigate the New Testament story of Jesus Christ and early Christian history, with "surprising results."

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) December 27, 2007 -- Stellar House Publishing recently announced the publication of its premiere title, "Who Was Jesus? Fingerprints of The Christ," by controversial author D.M. Murdock. This new paperback follows Ms. Murdock's previous works that reveal early Christian history to be largely mythical, by sorting through available historical and archaeological data.

In "Who Was Jesus? Fingerprints of The Christ," Ms. Murdock scientifically examines the gospel story, using the four canonical gospels, as well as other Christian texts. She also incorporates into her in-depth inquiry remarks from well-known Christian evangelists and apologists, as well as prominent New Testament scholars. "Who Was Jesus?" includes a "Foreword" by New Testament scholar and Jesus Seminar member Dr. Robert M. Price.

"Who Was Jesus? Fingerprints of The Christ" brings a new perspective to New Testament studies by demonstrating that much of the mainstream scenario cannot be sustained under "CSI-style," "forensic" investigation. Firstly, a comparison between the four gospels reveals a mass of problems and difficulties that cannot be reconciled logically. Secondly, Ms. Murdock's analysis includes the argument that the gospels cannot be found in the historical or archaeological record earlier than the end of the second century. In addition, she shows that the gospel story possesses a number of problems with contradictions and repellant values that are generally left unexamined. Murdock further argues that there is no reliable and credible evidence that Jesus Christ even existed.

"To my knowledge, 'Who Was Jesus? Fingerprints of The Christ' is unlike any other book on the subject, out of many thousands," says Ms. Murdock, adding, "My study concludes with surprising results." Murdock also states, "With so much of our global social structure based on holy writ of some sort or another, it is imperative that we examine thoroughly our sacred cows and not shirk from exposing them to the bright sunlight."

A historian and scholar of archaeology, mythology, religion and languages, Ms. Murdock is also known as Acharya S, author of the books "The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold" and "Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled."

With this new title, Stellar House Publishing establishes itself as a publisher in the field of New Testament studies and biographies in religion.
