Turbonetics Hires Jon Vieth, a Veteran of OEM and OES Relations, as New Director of Sales
Jon Vieth, formerly of Transmission Technologies Corporation joins Turbonetics as new Director of Sales & OE Development.
Simi Valley, CA (PRWEB) March 28, 2007 -- Turbonetics is pleased to announce the hiring of Jon Vieth, age 48, of Oregon, Ohio as its Director of Sales and OE Development. For the past 23 years Jon has been active in the aftermarket and OE automotive industry, getting his start with Goody's Truck Parts (Toledo, Ohio) in 1983 and had been with Transmission Technologies Corporation (TTC) in Farmington Hills, Michigan for the past 11 years. While at TTC, Jon held the position of Product Line Manager, working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and the Original Equipment Service (OES) along with the Independent Aftermarket. During this time he has attended many industry events and on numerous occasions has been a guest speaker at APRA and International Truck Parts Association (ITPA) conferences.

On weekends during the race season, Jon attends various NMRA, FFW and Super Chevy events listening to the voice of the customers. This information is then disseminated into product development such as the TREMEC TKO-500 and TKO-600 transmissions that are being retro-fit in classic cars today. Jon attended Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, Ohio). For 16 years he was active as a basketball referee officiating high school basketball games in Northwest Ohio and NCAA Division I college games throughout the Midwest. Jon enjoys golf and family vacations along with watching NCAA sporting events. Jon has been married for 26 years to wife Marilyn, they have three children, Joshua (25), Megan (23) and Marty (20).
