Homogenius, The Gay Trivia Board Game, Salutes Gay Pride Month

Homogenius™, the trivia board game that celebrates gay culture, will be on sale for $24.99 during Gay Pride Month (June) with a portion of sales being contributed to GLAAD.

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 5, 2007 -- Homogenius™, the trivia board game that celebrates gay culture and explores the contributions that gay personalities have made to theater, music, movies, TV, publishing and politics announced a special promotion in honor of Gay Pride Month, according to Chris Trani, Homogenius co-developer.

The object of the game, which comes packaged in a stylish trunk-like box, is to "come out of the closet" by correctly answering a series of gay trivia questions.

"We are honored to be able to be part of Gay Pride Month and have selected GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) as our charity-of-choice to receive ongoing contributions, starting in June," added Ms. Trani.

Homogenius was named one of the Most Innovative New Board Game of the Year by prestigious industry leader TD Monthly (Toy Directory Monthly), according to Ms. Trani.

During the month of June, Homogenius, which retails for $34.99, will be on sale for $24.99 which includes free shipping & handling.

About Homogenius
When Marianne Trani gathered her daughters around the dining room table to play trivia board games, her gay brother Charles often pulled up a chair to join his young nieces Allison and Christiane.

For the benefit of Uncle Chuck, as well as wanting to entertain and amuse him, the girls would add gay-oriented questions to the game.

Over the years this became part of the Trani family tradition and caused the girls to research and explore deeper into the gay culture in order to find acceptable questions.

Today, their exploration into gay culture has evolved into Homogenius™, the gay trivia board game.
