Everest Poker Announces Winners of August 26th $100,000 Guaranteed Texas Hold 'Em Tournament
The online poker room hosts an online $100,000 guaranteed no-limit Texas Hold 'em tournament each Sunday at 14:30 GMT. This week, 745 players participated in Everest Poker's largest regularly-scheduled event.
Montreal, QC (PRWEB) August 30, 2007 -- Everest Poker, www.everestpoker.com, today announced the final ten winners from the online poker room's most recent $100,000 guaranteed Texas Hold 'em tournament. The tournament, scheduled each Sunday at 14:30 GMT, is Everest Poker's largest regularly-scheduled event. The most recent tournament, held August 26th, was played by 745 players from Europe, South America and Asia.
"These $100,000 events are a cornerstone of Everest Poker's schedule," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "Since we've started them, our best players now regularly make an appearance to try to get their share."
The winners for the August 26 $100,000 tournament are as follows: Aurora9 from Sweden took the top spot, with $221,000, followed by France's Piero@Issy, who won $12,000. Rounding out the top three was PAPACHARLIE from France, who received $9,000 for their efforts. The rest of the top ten players are as follows: cocokilleur from France ($7,000), IvyBlond from The Netherlands ($5,000), Bendavid2 from The Netherlands ($4,000), k_raf from France ($3,000), Naturspring from Germany ($1,750), ciceron3244 from the Argentina ($1,500), and freddiewalli from The Netherlands ($1,250).
"France and the Netherlands continue to create great poker players," added May. "But We've seen some really strong new members coming in from Japan and Chile, so they may want to look out!"
