Wayne, NJ (PRWEB) April 8, 2008 -- Today, Secure Symbology announced that renowned supply-chain expert Adam J. Dr. Fein joins an already high-powered Secure Symbology board that includes America's first Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge, former Surgeon General nominee Dr. Robert Kramer, retired U.S. Senator Larry Pressler, and former Congressman Gil Gutknecht.

"The timing and value of Dr. Fein joining the company's board of advisors couldn't be better," said Graham Sampson, Secure Symbology's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "California has established a firm e-pedigree compliance date of January 1, 2011, and all pharmaceutical manufacturers need to start compliance initiatives immediately. Dr. Fein's insights will help us continue advancing our fully tested turn-key unit-level serialization e-pedigree compliance system."

"I am very pleased to be assisting Secure Symbology with their important work," said Dr. Fein. "All of us are affected by the safety and security of the U.S. pharmaceutical supply chain. Secure Symbology has created solutions that can ensure both transactional security and regulatory compliance."

Dr. Fein is a well-known expert in pharmacy economics and the pharmaceutical supply chain. He has written numerous books and articles on distribution and supply chain strategy and currently authors a leading industry blog at www.DrugChannels.net. Dr. Fein earned his Ph.D. from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Brandeis University. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and their two children.

Secure Symbology continues to add people of prominence and experience to its advisory board as it expands and enters other clearly defined markets such as Homeland Security and Aeronautical.
