SharePoint Solutions Announces New SharePoint Training Classes in Nashville
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) September 16, 2013 -- SharePoint Solutions announced today that several new SharePoint training classes will be taught in Nashville in September, October and November.
The course “InfoPath 2010/SharePoint Server 2010 No-Code Workflow Deep Dive” will be taught on Sept. 24-27 and Nov. 19-22. This hands-on course offers students an in-depth look at the automating of common business processes by creating digital forms in InfoPath 2010 and trains them to build sophisticated SharePoint 2010 workflow solutions in SharePoint Designer 2010.
Upon completion, students will be able to:
• Use InfoPath 2010 to create business forms
• Understand best practices for form design in general and InfoPath in particular
• Write complex workflows using SharePoint Designer 2010
• Work with digital signatures
• Include external data in InfoPath forms
• Publish InfoPath forms to a SharePoint Server with or without Forms Services
• Convert existing Word and Excel forms to InfoPath forms
• Submit InfoPath data to an external database for reporting
The Oct. 8-10 class “Business Intelligence Training – the Microsoft Self-Service BI Toolset,” provides three days of hands-on instructor-led training that enables students to gather, assimilate and share a wide array of business data in days instead of months by employing a set of powerful, user-friendly tools.
This is an intermediate- to advanced-level course, and is for business professionals who are experienced SharePoint 2010 power users. It includes two books to use in class and take home, which are used in combination to teach this course.
To use these new BI tools in production, an organization must have deployed (or be planning to deploy) the on-premises version of SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition and an instance of SQL Server 2012 Enterprise or Business Intelligence Edition as an add-on application server in its SharePoint 2010 farm. Previous versions of SQL Server can still be used simultaneously for storing SharePoint content.
SharePoint Solutions also is offering two non-technical SharePoint 2013 introductory courses in Nashville for using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint. The two-day course covers core fundamentals (Part 1), while the four-day course covers core fundamentals and additional features (Parts 1 and 2).
“Using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint – Part 1,” which will be held Oct. 15-16, provides an introduction for business professionals who have not previously used SharePoint, giving them a detailed overview of SharePoint 2013’s most basic and commonly used features.
“Using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint – Parts 1 and 2” gives students a complete hands-on introduction to SharePoint 2013’s many features, capabilities, business uses and benefits. The course’s hands-on lab exercises are designed to bring real-world experience to users of SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint. The class will be held Oct. 15-18.
“Our courses provide students with practical hands-on training from instructors who are not only experts in SharePoint, but also experts in communicating technical information in a helpful, easy-to-understand manner,” said Randy Moody, sales and marketing representative for SharePoint Solutions.
Each course has a comprehensive manual which includes a distillation of the lecture content, the PowerPoint slides and the hands-on lab exercises that walk students through the SharePoint experience, click-by-click.
All classes will be held at SharePoint Solutions’ training center in Brentwood, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville. Students can also attend them live online.
