St. Helena, CA (PRWEB) December 11, 2013 -- Wine Market Council, the non-profit association of grape growers, wine producers, importers, wholesalers, and other affiliated wine businesses, today announced the dates for the 9th Annual Wine Market Council Research Conferences to be held January 28 in New York and January 31 in Santa Rosa. This year’s conferences will feature the latest U.S. wine consumption trends including data from Wine Market Council’s most recent study of high frequency wine drinkers and winery wine club members, as well as Nielsen’s latest information and insights. Data on the craft beer and craft spirits market, and their interaction with the wine industry will be presented. In addition, presented in Santa Rosa will be highlights of a survey of Wine Market Council member winery wine club members.
“High frequency wine drinkers are key to the advancement of the entire wine industry,” said John Gillespie, President of Wine Market Council. “The latest research on consumption habits will allow marketers to better understand current wine trends so they can more easily target high frequency wine drinkers.”
The 2014 Wine Market Council Research Conferences will take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, NY, and Friday, January 31, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Vintners Inn in Santa Rosa, CA.
