Howard County Chiropractor, Elite Chiropractic and Sport, Sponsors Local Professional Fighters of Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Columbia, MD (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- Elite Chiropractic and Sport is proud to announce that it has partnered with Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to provide active recovery for its Mixed Martial Arts competition team.
As the popularity of Mixed Martial Arts events such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship grows, so has the demand for skilled doctors who can assist athletes involved in training for these events. The services offered by Elite include a variety of techniques such as Active Release and Grastron Technique as well as Physical Rehabilitation.
"Dr. Bross has already helped several of our students and we are very grateful for this. We're appreciative of the fact that we are being supported by such a great practice whose services we can all utilize," said Head Coach, Julius Park of the sponsorship.
"Training in grappling and striking can put a lot of strain on the neck and back. In the past, the athletes have been using their individual doctors and chiropractors, and the results have been mixed. The guys who have used Dr. Bross have raved about him, so we decided to work out a deal so we can get more of our guys to him."
Athletes such as Tye Ryan Murphy, 2013 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, and Peter Petties, aspiring MMA fighter who recently returned from a Muay Thai training trip to Thailand, will be a few of the athletes training at Crazy 88 who will benefit from this partnership.
