Patricia Urquiola to Join Domus Academy as a Mentor in the Master in Interior and Living Design Program
Milan, Italy (PRWEB) July 12, 2013 -- In September, globally renowned designer Patricia Urquiola will join the faculty of Domus Academy as a mentor in the Master in Interior and Living Design program. This is the first in a series of new additions to Domus Academy’s distinguished lecturers and reflects the institution’s tradition of providing students with access to practicing professionals so that they gain relevant industry experience.
Urquiola is a designer and architect who has worked with Moroso, B&B, Flos, Mutina, Missoni, BMW and Louis Vuitton. In her role at Domus Academy, she will work directly with students, select designers from her studio to work with students, curate a course workshop, and involve her studio in classroom projects.
“Domus Academy is honored that Patricia Urquiola is joining our faculty and bringing her experience to our students,” said Gianluigi Ricuperati, dean of Domus Academy. “Her work is known around the world, and she will be an inspiration to our learning community.”
