Hales Corners, WI (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- This story was originally reported on 07/02/2013 by WISN-TV. This Site makes no warranties or representations in connection therewith.
According to WISN-TV, a 20-year-old teacher at a local Lutheran preschool is accused of having her heroin delivered to her work. Kiley Cirillo was charged with four counts of possession or attempted possession of various drugs after someone delivered a bag containing numerous used needles, a spoon with a burnt, white residue and a bottle of pills, police said.
WISN-TV further reports that a criminal complaint states Cirillo was at work when someone dropped off a bag of food for her. Another teacher thought something was suspicious and found a piece of foil containing what appeared to be an illegal drug. Cirillo told authorities she didn’t know what was in the bag but police said text messages on her phone show she was texting with a friend who wrote, “Do you need some?” Cirillo allegedly wrote back, “just bring some to my work,” and “put it in some food.”
James Boeddeker, President of Selection.com, a leading provider of criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screenings stated, "Preschools and Daycares are especially vulnerable to these types of situations which makes it even more important to go above and beyond what is required by law. Completing the most thorough background check possible, including random drug tests, is the only sensible precaution. We usually think of drug testing as something needed in manufacturing or transportation industries but what could be worse than exposing our children to drugs?"
