Berkeley College Offers Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design

Berkeley College is pleased to announce that it will begin offering a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design in Woodland Park, NJ, and through Berkeley College Online. The program is accepting enrollment for the Fall Quarter, which begins in September.

Vakalis, EdD, Berkeley College Provost. “Our Graphic Design instructors are chosen for both their academic credentials and their relevant professional experience. They share firsthand industry knowledge that will prepare our students to enter the exciting and challenging world of graphic design.”
The new Graphic Design program offers a curriculum that allows students to acquire expertise in the art and business of visual communications. In addition to courses that explore the theory, language and tools of graphic design, students learn to effectively apply their knowledge and skills by leveraging current industry software for web design, typography and areas of marketing and promotion. Students will have access to new design studios at the Berkeley College Woodland Park location.
Students enrolled in the BFA in Graphic Design program will complete an internship prior to graduation. Career specialists work with students on an individual basis to help them obtain internships that are best suited to the students’ interests and chosen career fields. Graduates of this program are prepared for careers in areas including publishing, user interface design, sales and marketing, advertising and public relations.
