Dutch Bros. Coffee Donating All Dollars Raised to American Cancer Society
Lane County, Ore. (PRWEB) July 22, 2013 -- On Wednesday, July 24, all 15 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in the Eugene-Springfield area will offer any drink for just $2 and donate all dollars raised to the Lane County Chapter of American Cancer Society (ACS).
Last year, Dutch Bros. raised $42,519 in a single day. “This year, we are trying to raise $100,000!” say Jonah and Brittany Boersma, a husband-and-wife team that owns seven of the 15 locations in the Eugene area.
Chris Stewart, owner of the other eight area Dutch Bros., says, “It feels great to live in a community that supports a wonderful organization like the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.”
All drinks will be just $2, including smoothies, freezes, energy drinks and specialty coffee.
In addition, Dutch Bros. Coffee will serve at the Eugene/Springfield Relay for Life event taking place July 26-27 at Willamette High School. At the event, drinks will be full menu price and, again, all money raised will go directly to the local chapter of ACS.
This will be the eighth consecutive year that Dutch Bros. Coffee has supported American Cancer Society. Locations in Eugene, Springfield, Junction City and Cottage Grove are all participating.
