Summer concerts and fireworks are scheduled every week in Lake George Village. Shepard Park in Lake George is a great public beach, picnic area, and musical amphitheater. Magical Music Mondays 7:30 p.m. start the week in Shepard Park - a great Musical performance by Rich Ortiz and magician Jimmy Brown. On Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. is the Summer Concert Series sponsored by The Lake George Arts Project, with great music including Buckwheat Zydeco on August 14th. Thursday is Fireworks night in Shepard Park, 9:30 p.m. They're viewable from all over the village lake front including the Georgian Patio. Shepard Park also hosts Fridays at The Lake Concert Series, every Friday at 8PM.
Food Service is a big part of every vacation - The Georgian offers dining at Giovanna's On The Lake Restaurant. For outdoor lunches on the patio the Cabana Bar offers a complete lunch menu and a Happy Hour every day form 4-7 p.m. with drink and appetizer specials. More cafes, restaurants and shops are a short walk away in Lake George Village.
