Kavi Upgrades Comment Management to Better Support Standards Development
Portland, OR (PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- Kavi Corporation, a leader in formal collaboration and consensus building software for standards setting organizations, announced today substantial improvements in comment management functionality in Kavi Workspace.
The Comment Manager in Kavi Workspace helps committees and working groups accept, manage, respond and resolve input in a manner that quickly achieves consensus and reduces the costs of collaboration. It is designed to support the work of several distinct stakeholders in the standards development process, including committee chairs, comment managers, committee participants and the general public.
This set of enhancements improves the visual appearance, speeds sorting and resolution of comments, and reorganizes layouts to greatly improve usability and erase the learning curve. Comments can now accept multiple responses from multiple parties, capturing a complete threaded dialog on a comment or topic. The powerful list view can expand and collapse comments and their contents while sorting and filtering based on a variety of criteria. Comments can be assigned to specific participants, tagged, and resolved, with automatic notifications to the appropriate people.
The Comment Manager component is tightly integrated with document management, balloting, and highly configurable roles and permission settings that ensure confidentiality among participants. The commenting capabilities can be shared with the public, or restricted as needed to specific working groups or documents.
