Bender Community Leadership Award at this year’s Jewish Women International’s Women to Watch gala on December 9th. This prestigious award is presented annually to an individual who displays extraordinary leadership in the Washington, D.C. community.
Meryl Rosenberg has been involved in helping the Jewish community for over 20 years, including her current service as vice president for leadership and volunteer development with the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. Her volunteer work for other Jewish organizations includes past president and board member of the Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning, and as a trustee of the Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation.
Jewish Women International (JWI) is an organization dedicated to empowering women and girls. Through their innovative community programs, advocacy and philanthropic work, the JWI helps protect the fundamental rights of all girls and women. At their gala event, the annual Women to Watch celebration, JWI brings extraordinary women together to celebrate their achievements.
