Resorts of Ontario Announces Spring Conference & Trade Show Program for 2014
Orillia, Ontario (PRWEB) January 27, 2014 -- Resorts of Ontario (http://www.resortsofontario.com ), an association representing over 100 of Ontario’s finest resort hotels, inns, lodges and cottage resorts, has unveiled its 2014 Annual Spring Conference & Trade Show program. The 2014 Resorts of Ontario Trade Show will take place on Monday, March 31st and Tuesday, April 1st at the Casino Rama Hotel and at Fern Resort in Rama, Ontario. The Resorts of Ontario Trade Show is an annual industry member event not to be missed.
During the Spring Conference, Resorts of Ontario members have the opportunity to attend informative educational seminars, round table discussions and training workshops. The Resorts of Ontario Trade Show showcases the latest goods and services for the hospitality industry, featuring booths and displays by Resorts of Ontario Preferred Suppliers and other exhibitors. Throughout the conference, members have the chance to socialize with fellow delegates to build business relationships and develop future partnerships within the resort and accommodation industry.
After registration and coffee, the conference opens on March 31st with opening remarks by Resorts of Ontario president Greg Elmhirst. Immediately following, there will be a 3-hour “Train-The Trainer” workshop on Diversity & Social Inclusion headed by James Milligan. After lunch and the AGM, an educational round table discussion begins covering hospitality industry topics of interest such as HR and safety, pest control, search engine optimization and social networking for business, the importance of the quality mattresses, and more. From 3pm to 5pm, the Resorts of Ontario Trade Show gives delegates the opportunity to see the latest products and services on display. During the concurrent Trade Show Reception there will be a draw for a Grand Prize of $1000.00. Later in the evening, the President’s Dinner and Reception at Fern Resort will be one of the highlights of the Spring Conference.
The second day of the Resorts of Ontario conference begins with breakfast and then an interactive LGBT Certificate Training Workshop presented by Travel Gay Canada. The workshop includes a take-away workbook that examines the significance of LGBT issues within the context of broader diversity issues. All delegates attending this workshop will earn Certificate status. The 2014 Spring Conference winds up at 1pm in the afternoon with farewell and closing remarks.
