Gold Coast Auto Body Achieves Gold Class Status: I-CAR's Designation is the Collision Repair industry's Highest Training Recognition
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) March 13, 2014 -- Gold Coast Auto Body is proud to announce its achievement of Gold Class status, the industry standard for training that contributes to complete and safe repairs.
Awarded by I-CAR– the not-for-profit Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair – Gold Class designation is widely recognized as the collision repair industry’s highest training recognition. Only 10 percent of collision repair businesses currently meet the rigorous training requirements necessary to earn the Gold Class designation.
The achievement further distinguishes Gold Coast as one of the most elite auto body shops in the entire Chicago area. Gold Class shops are required to have every technician involved in collision repair take training that is specific to their roles. And they must continue with ongoing training each year to maintain the Gold Class designation, including classes in new technology.
Which only makes sense for a body shop like Gold Coast, whose reputation is built on staying at the very forefront of repair technology. Today’s vehicles are increasingly sophisticated devices featuring an ever-growing number of components, parts and advanced lightweight materials. The constant introduction of new vehicle technologies can result in repair procedures changing significantly from year to year, making current repair knowledge critical for the achievement of complete and safe repairs.
This is especially true of the higher end luxury and performance vehicles that are Gold Coast’s specialty. The shop is OEM-certified, by Audi Mercedes Benz, Tesla, and Volkswagen, and is among the city’s top choices for collision repair work on BMW, Porsche, Range Rover and Land Rover as well.
“We’re honored to be named a Gold Class collision repair facility,” said Dominic Martino, co-owner of Gold Coast Auto Body “It’s another example of our commitment to staying at the forefront of the field, and a symbol of our commitment to professionalism and to the safety of our customers. ”
