New Holiday Retirement Website Expands Commitment to Innovate Senior Living
Lake Oswego, OR (PRWEB) March 11, 2014 -- Holiday Retirement, a leading provider of independent retirement communities and other senior living options, today unveiled a new website with helpful resources, interactive tools and faster access to information to help seniors and their families learn more about and plan for retirement living. The website is located at http://www.holidaytouch.com.
“The website is the digital face of the company and serves as a gateway to Holiday’s more than 300 senior living communities in the U.S. and Canada,” said Kai Hsiao, Holiday’s president and chief executive officer. “This fresh new look focuses on the lifestyle we offer seniors every day, and provides them with resources and tools to make an informed decision on what meets their retirement needs.”
New Website Features
The new features help seniors and their families learn more about Holiday Retirement communities and the Holiday lifestyle. The new tools and resources include:
Easier Access to Find a Local Community: The website’s new automatic location detector pulls up the closet community location to eliminate having to search for it. A state-by-state locator on each website page lists states or provinces that locates a community in the immediate area. A new map search tool allows communities to be searched by care type. Communities can also be bookmarked for easy reference.
Help Finding Senior Events in the Area: Every Holiday community hosts a variety of vocational and community activities, outings, volunteer opportunities and seminars. All of these activities are open to seniors in the area, including those who do not live in Holiday communities. The activities are searchable based on category, and all events and activities can be added to a personal calendar and shared with a friend. Potential attendees can now RSVP to events on the website.
Tools to Help Plan a Move to a Holiday Community: The new website community pages highlight nearby restaurants, stores and businesses; display the community event calendar and newsletter; show photographs of the community; and host an interactive and printable furniture planner for the community’s floor plans.
“We want the transition to retirement living to be as seamless as possible, and this visually rich format will help seniors and their families make that transition with ease,” said Hsiao. “This new look lets us present content visually so visitors can quickly become familiar with the Holiday lifestyle and easily find the information that’s relevant to their needs.”
The Holiday Touch website is part of the company’s overall innovation and outreach strategy to help seniors live more fulfilling lives. Holiday offers a variety of resources and programs to help seniors and their loved ones learn more about the transition to senior living, and more easily connect to Holiday’s communities, activities, programs and amenities. Seniors who are interested in experiencing the Holiday lifestyle are invited to join activities or programs at a local Holiday community.
