Leading Post-Acute EMR Provider HealthWyse Names Graham Barnes as Chief Executive Officer
Wilmington, MA (PRWEB) March 17, 2014 -- Leading electronic medical record software provider HealthWyse today announced that Graham Barnes will be joining the company as the CEO.
Barnes comes to HealthWyse with significant experience in healthcare technology. Most recently he was CEO at HealthyCircles, an enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution focused on post-acute care coordination and the emerging ACO market. HealthyCircles was acquired by Qualcomm Life in 2013. Prior to that Barnes led Concerro, a market-leading provider of SaaS scheduling and incident command systems to hospitals.
HealthWyse was founded in 1998 and has remained focused exclusively on the home health, hospice and private duty marketplace. In 2011 the firm was acquired by an investor group which infused growth capital. In the intervening two years HealthWyse has seen double digit growth, extending its client base into 44 states. During this time the company has introduced innovative technology such as dynamic, role-based dashboards that deliver actionable metrics on key indicators such as patient outcome measures, productivity and financial health.
As CEO, Barnes will draw on his experience to manage an aggressive product development effort and to scale support services as HealthWyse expands its client base.
“This is an exciting time to join HealthWyse: post-acute is such an important part of the care continuum,” said Barnes. “The company has excelled at delivering innovative solutions to support clients in the face of a rapidly evolving marketplace and regulatory climate. My experiences from previous companies will enable me to build on the strategic partnerships we have developed with our clients.”
