Noahide Nations Weighs in on the Noah Movie Controversy, Offers Online Training Classes “How to Live a Noah-Inspired Life” and Launches TheRealNoahStory.com
Richardson, Texas (PRWEB) April 09, 2014 -- “The Noah Movie has us upset and concerned from a variety of aspects,” said Ray Pettersen, founder of Noahide Nations, the religious organization whose members practice and celebrate the oldest religion known to man. The organization that researches, teaches and lives the religion that Noah and his family were practicing at the time of the flood, sees many discrepancies with the facts.
"I went to see the first showing of the Noah movie and discovered that what Hollywood calls 'Creative License' I call 'Ripley’s Believe it or Not'," Pettersen said. “For a movie that’s based on a Biblical Hero, there were some biblically accurate moments, some depictions were entirely plausible, but the key life-living principals about Noah, The 7 Laws of Noah, were completely absent. Noah and his 3 sons got on the ark with their wives but the movie says that only Shem and Noah got on with their wives, there were no babies born on the ark, and there’s no way the Biblical Noah would ever consider post-birth abortion. This movie was 139 minutes of action-hero worship, not the true record of what Noah did and completely omitted the foundational principles that were given to him in order to accomplish what he did for all men. Our mission is to celebrate and teach these guidelines to live a stronger and more fulfilling life on this planet."
“What I find challenging is that there will be thousands of people who watch this movie and think that it is true without ever once laying eyes on a Bible.” Mr. Pettersen says his job is to make sure that accurate information is available for that segment of moviegoers who would genuinely like to know how true it actually was. Just for the record, Noah was 600 years old when the flood came and nobody built a raft to escape the ark! Tubal-Cain never stowed-away on the ark, there was no knife-fight with his brother, Noah…just to name a few of the obvious flaws in the movie version.
Due to the tremendous popularity of the move and the totality of the information being given to the audience about Noah, that may or may not be true, Noahide Nations is compelled to respond by making accurate information available to Noah moviegoers around the world. They are sponsoring a new website http://www.TheRealNoahStory.com for those who are truly interested in the facts.
