Rolling Hills Country Club Experiences Record Membership Growth
Rolling Hills Estates, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2014 -- Rolling Hills Country Club has added more than 80 members in the first seven months of 2014. This success comes as the club prepares to construct a brand new golf course and clubhouse.
With plans to break ground in the beginning of 2015, Rolling Hills Country Club will work with renowned golf course architect, David McLay Kidd and clubhouse designer, Bob Altevers. Kidd is well known for his designs at Bandon Dunes in Oregon, Nanea Golf Club in Hawaii, and The Castle Course in St. Andrews. Altevers’ portfolio boasts many of California’s top clubhouses, including Shady Canyon Golf Club, Big Canyon Country Club, and Pelican Hill Golf Club.
The new club will offer full country club amenities, including a swimming complex with a junior Olympic pool and adult lap pool, a 6,000 square foot athletics center, spa facilities, and a tennis garden with a stadium court and additional hardcourts. Complementing the new world-class golf course, Rolling Hills Country Club will feature a deluxe, 8.5 acre practice facility with a 350-yard driving range, nine regulation greens, a short game practice area, and a training center with high-tech computerized analysis.
Plans for the state-of-the-art facilities have helped to attract many young families in the South Bay community, explains Kathryn Allen, Rolling Hills Country Club’s Director of Sales & Marketing: “We’ve experienced so much interest because there will truly be nothing in the area comparable to our new club, from the amenities to the golf experience. Many young families in the community are especially attracted to the family-friendly lifestyle that our membership provides.”
Located on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula, Rolling Hills Country Club is the only private club in the South Bay. It provides members and their guests with a broad scope of programs and amenities, including a championship 18-hole golf course, complete with stunning views of the Los Angeles Basin. Members also enjoy outstanding tennis facilities, fine and casual dining, and extensive social activities and special event facilities, all complemented by superb service from an experienced, attentive staff.
