ArcticFX Graphics Reveals New Custom Industry Sled Wrap Designs for MotorFist™
Washington, MI (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 -- When ArcticFX Graphics first started, just putting a wrap on a snowmobile was a bold and daring idea, but then, sledders are bold and daring by nature. The years passed and sled wraps became more common, so riders began asking ArcticFX how they could design their own wraps and have the AFX team produce the actual graphics kit. The requests for custom work have also increased from snowmobile companies, sponsored athletes, and more recently sled gear and apparel makers like MotorFist™.
“Designing one-of-a-kind sled wraps is our passion,” said ArcticFX Graphics founder Jordan Yankee. “So you can imagine how excited we get when we have top companies in the industry coming to us to design and produce custom sled wrap designs.” Just as riders themselves have become incrementally more active in designing their own particular wraps, the demand for custom wraps has also increased from sled makers like Polaris, Ski-Doo, and Arctic Cat, from gear companies like Klīm and MotorFist, and from sled groups like Alpine Assassins, a core group of riders who have been together for years and who live by the credo, “We ride!”
MotorFist™ and ArcticFX Graphics were brought together by sponsored sled rider Taylor Fisk, the Creative Director for the Idaho-based developer of snowmobile outerwear and sport-specific apparel. They requested a custom sled wrap designed to match and complement their most popular helmet, the Dominator, then came back with a second request for a sled wrap to match their new Magneto helmet. MotorFist™ has gone head to head with long-time industry leader Klīm, and they currently distribute their products in the United States, Canada, Finland, Sweden and Norway. “Sled riders are so connected with their machines that it seems only natural to have the colors and designs of gear extend to the sled itself,” said MotorFist™ Marketing Director, Justin Stevens. “ArcticFX Graphics also sees that connection, and they have worked in collaboration with MotorFist™ to produce two new wraps that really help bring rider and sled together as one.”
It’s been a fast summer so far for ArcticFX Graphics. As the company got busier it became necessary to find larger space for their headquarters. ArcticFX Graphics not only moved into a great new facility but gained an additional 3,500 sq. ft. of work space. The company has hired more designers and is now able to produce more graphics kits to meet the growing demand. “Moving the business and setting up shop all over again was a great way to start the summer, but it was also a lot of long days in the beginning,” admitted owner and chief designer, Jordan Yankee. “At the same time, we had computer programmers enhancing our SledWrapR™ custom wrap designer program AND they began the work for our upcoming sister website, MotoFX Graphics™. This site will also feature our proprietary app MotoWrapR™, which will allow our fellow power sports enthusiasts and moto riders to custom design wraps for their rides. It’s been a very productive few months.”
August will see the SledWrapR™ release of the newest industry edition designs from ArcticFX Graphics and MotorFist™, as well as the launch of the new website MotoFXGraphics.com, just in time for the fall MX season. As soon as the snow starts to fall, sled riders will be priming their machines for the first serious days of what is hoped will be another epic snow year. “Power sports is our niche,” said Jordan Yankee, “and if it moves, we can wrap it and make it look badass.”
