Independent Glass Association Announces Mygrant Glass Company as New Industry Partner
Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 -- The Independent Glass Association (IGA) today announced that Mygrant Glass Company (Mygrant) has become an IGA industry partner to form a first-of-its-kind industry level initiative to strengthen independent glass shops in the USA for the automotive glass industry. The partnership will deliver glass shops the tools and information they need in order to compete against national companies that control not only the insurance claims process but also the repair/replacement marketplace.
“The importance of this partnership cannot be understated. It was essential for us to identify a partner who has the strategic vision and ability to execute a long-term plan that brings true actionable business opportunities across a very diverse range of glass shops within our membership,” said Gary Hart, IGA executive director.
Independent glass shops in the automotive glass repair and replacement industry (AGRR) have a history of a vigorous connection with its customers. These connections are threatened as insurance claim administrators (TPA’s) increasingly drive claims away from these shops in favor of shops in their own organization or glass program "network”. The IGA has member programs and industry tools such as Total Shop Management and ClaimsVerse that level the playing field for the independents while driving real value to all stakeholders in the AGRR industry.
“Mygrant stands ready to work with the IGA and all of its stakeholders across the industry to find real improvements for increasing the profitability and strength of independent glass shops. This is a positive first step at addressing a complicated set of concerns shared by these shops and their partners,” said Paul Anaya, National Accounts and Marketing Manager for Mygrant. “Independent glass shops are counting on us to provide the guidance and expertise they require to be successful. We are committed to delivering real improvements to these shops and are very excited to coordinate these endeavors as an IGA industry partner member,” concluded Anaya.
“We are delighted that Mygrant has become an IGA industry partner member that is committed to cooperatively taking on the challenges independent glass shops endure. This visionary undertaking will further empower the IGA to strategically lead the industry with powerful new insight into the current needs and issues of independent glass shops. This partnership is a positive step in the right direction since there is no single solution for the complex issues independent glass shops face. This is why the IGA engages stakeholders like Mygrant in order to drive real value to those we serve – our members,” concluded Hart.
Beginning immediately, independent glass shops may apply for IGA membership directly with their Mygrant representative or online at http://www.iga.org/mygrant. Any current Mygrant customer will receive $50 off any new membership through October 31, 2014.
