Tranxition Announces Cloud File System Support for Its User Persona API for Dropbox
Portland, OR (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- Tranxition™ Corporation, today announced cloud and security system support in its User Persona API. In addition to standard file systems, User Persona API now explicitly supports DropBox.
To encourage greater safety and security, the User Persona API now also supports client-side AES-256 encryption and the FIPS 140 standard.
Customers who implement the API automatically inherit the ability to support storing Tranxition-encrypted user data on Dropbox. This means that developers of Systems Management, Backup, Asset Management, Desktop-as-a-Service, and others can support backup, restore, disaster recovery and other services without having to field their own cloud file services unless they already have one.
Software and services vendors appreciate User Persona API’s restoration capability. With the API, restoration is independent of the version of Windows or Office in use to the extent that users transition to the same or newer one. Users can procure a new PC and upgrade at the moment of restoration. The API includes support for dozens of applications and Windows options, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, most browsers, and other application.
“We’ve noticed a significant amount of interest in the User Persona API,” said Kelly Mackin, Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Tranxition. “Now that the Personality Object technology we created is liberated from the migration use case, there is no shortage of exciting applications that can take root.”
