Shareable Ink and Bentley University Collaborate on Advanced Usability Features for Simplified Clinical Documentation
NASHVILLE, TN and WALTHAM, MA (PRWEB) September 23, 2014 -- Today, Shareable Ink, an innovative healthcare technology company, and Bentley University, one of the nation’s top-ranked business schools, announced a partnership that will take place throughout Bentley’s fall 2014 semester focusing on one of the largest barriers to the adoption of clinical software affecting patient care – ease of use.
“Shareable Ink is proud to work with top talent from Bentley University to advance our intuitive and impactful user interface designs in clinical software,” said Laurie McGraw, President and CEO for Shareable Ink. “Usability with our simplified clinical documentation solutions is paramount to Shareable Ink. Bentley University has both a world class UI Design Lab and Human Factors Program and we are excited to work with Bentley students to ensure our advanced solutions continue to be intuitive and easy to use for busy clinicians.“
One of the biggest issues plaguing the EHR industry is usability. Shareable Ink has created clinical documentation software that increases ease of use among physicians which in turn provides hospitals and health systems with accurate and useable data. Shareable Ink will work with Bentley graduate students to study the best design implementation for the clinical decision support features within Shareable Ink’s clinical documentation solutions. As part of this collaboration with Shareable Ink, Bentley will provide its students with the valuable experience of working with a leader in the healthcare information technology industry.
“We are excited to work in partnership with Shareable Ink on our Human Factors in Information Design program,” said Dr. William M. Gribbons of Bentley University. “This is a great opportunity for our students to prepare for post graduate work while contributing to Shareable Ink’s innovative solutions for electronic health records.”
Industry thought leader, Stephen S. Hau, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Shareable Ink, unveiled his company’s newest gamification usability features at Health 2.0 in Silicon Valley on September 21.
