A Healthy Partnership for Change
PORTLAND, Ore. A new partnership between Oregon-based Quality Health Solutions (QHS), SDLC Partners, L.P. and Gateway Health aims to help them to do just that.
Effective in November, Gateway Health’s nearly 310,000 Medicare and Medicaid members in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Delaware now have access to the industry renowned Health Risk Intervention offered by QHS.

The Health Risk Intervention was developed by Pro-Change Behavior Systems. Pro-Change is a research and development company that has partnered with QHS to commercialize and disseminate its research. The Pro-Change Health Risk Intervention has received the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) HIP 2 Certification. Gateway Health chose to integrate the survey because of its NCQA certification, using easy-to-understand language and research that backs up the Health Risk Intervention questions.
With the implementation of this program, Gateway Health members have the option to access and utilize Health Risk Intervention as part of their benefits plan. The program includes a brief questionnaire that uses validated questions to assess readiness to change health risks, and provides immediate evidence-based, stage-matched feedback so that members can make progress on that specific behavior.
