California (PRWEB) March 05, 2015 -- 8minutenergy Renewables, LLC – the nation's leading independent solar PV developer, today announced the opening of a key office in San Francisco, Calif. The office will focus on business development, project finance and engineering, and procurement and construction (EPC) to further 8minutenergy's goal of developing utility-scale solar PV that reduces the cost of energy. The San Francisco office is the company's fifth location in California.
8minutenergy Renewables develops, finances, engineers, constructs, holds, operates and maintains solar projects. The company's portfolio of solar PV projects under development in the United States and overseas totals 3,000 MW. 8minutenergy’s track record includes 1,150 MW in executed Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), the co-development of a 260 MW plant that is producing power, and 200 MW currently under construction.
