Human Condition Global Presents LAUNCH IT
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 07, 2015 -- The International Space Apps Challenge is a worldwide NASA Innovation Incubator program, during which grassroots organizers around the world will be engaging teams of technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, developers, students, and anyone else interested in space exploration in a weekend-long hackathon at their local sites. The intent is to enable these global citizens to utilize publicly available data to design innovative solutions for challenges posed by NASA, other governmental agencies, NGOs, and a variety of institutions.
Space Apps NYC is NASA's Global Mainstage for the Challenge--two years in a row!
Past Space Apps Challenges have borne solutions in the areas of agricultural crop health, drone workforces, health wearables and clean water mapping.
Through this amazing program, participants are able to work directly with NASA to change the world!
Human Condition Global is hosting this event at WeWork’s Galactic Headquarters in Lower Manhattan. The pre-mission briefing will foster conversations around what it takes to build the future by focusing on the exhilarating environment and opportunities presented by space.
“The space program has led to countless improvements in our day-to-day life. As we face increasingly challenging problems here on Earth, the design needs demanded by space push us to build more efficient, innovative and impactful solutions for Earth.” - Peter E. Raymond, CEO, Human Condition Global
The event will present a series of mission briefs featuring James Wanga, a 2013 NASA Space Apps Challenge winner and Senior Software Engineer at Morgan Stanley; Rait Arro, Director of StartupBus Europe; and Peter E. Raymond, CEO of Human Condition Global.
