Longtime Dallas TV News Anchor To Be Honored For Dedication To Foster Children
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) May 03, 2015 -- International Student Foundation announced today that it will be honoring longtime Dallas television news anchor, Gloria Campos, for her dedication to the plight of America's foster care children. She will be honored at a luncheon on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The event will start at 11:30am at the Park City Club, 5956 Sherry Lane (Suite 1700), in Dallas.
ISF is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships, mentoring and leadership training for select foster care and orphaned students. Dr. Blair Ritchey, ISF's Executive Director, said, "We want to thank Gloria Campos for her longtime dedication to the cause of foster children. ISF looks forward to honoring her at our luncheon this Tuesday and bring more awareness to the benefits she has produced for these children."
The luncheon also will honor ISF's Volunteers of the Year, Debbie Finley and Jan Johnson. Mentor of the Year, Titia Silvis, will be honored as well.
International Student Foundation was co-founded by Oran Ben Carroll and Dee Carroll. Their intent in starting the foundation was to provide scholarships, mentoring and leadership training for orphaned and aged-out foster care students.
