Vision Award Winners Honored by Constructech Magazine
Carol Stream, Ill. (PRWEB) August 28, 2015 -- Construction companies continue to leverage technology to improve businesses processes—and the organizations that gathered at a dinner on Thursday have done just that and were named the 2015 Vision Award winners by Constructech magazine. This year, the winners and their solutions providers were announced at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Schaumburg, Ill., following Constructech’s Technology Day event.
The Constructech Vision Awards acknowledge companies that have used technology in an innovative way to solve a problem to improve their competitiveness.
Companies eligible to submit for this competition include residential construction, commercial, and heavy construction businesses, professionals in all trades, architectural and engineering firms, corporate owners, facility management companies, government agencies, and land developers.
Construction companies are evaluated on a business challenge, how technology was innovatively used, and what the payoff of the solution is to the company. Companies are eligible for a Gold, Silver, or Bronze in their appropriate category, which is based on the amount of business they have done. Constructech also recognizes the hardware and software suppliers that have enabled the construction company to achieve its goals.
“Every year the Vision Award winners continue to surprise me, leveraging technology that provides auspicious benefits to the organization, helping them rise above the rest,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech. “This is an opportunity for others in the space to learn how technology can provide a competitive advantage.”
