San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 03, 2015 -- Rayne Water Corporation is pleased to announce the recertification of all of its top selling Water Softening Systems by the Water Quality Association (WQA).
The Rayne Infiniti 2000, Infiniti 1500, Guardian Elite 1500, Guardian Elite 1500-D, Guardian RG 1250, RXD 1000, and RXD 1500 all received full recertification under the WQA Gold Seal Program. Gold Seal testing is done under standards adopted by NSF/ANSI (American National Standards Institute). WQA is one of five organizations that is allowed to certify under the NSF/ANSI protocol.
The WQA is a not-for-profit association for the residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment industry, representing more than 2,700 member companies around the globe. The WQA's Certification Programs are designed to help consumers select water treatment products that have been tested and certified to industry standards. The Gold Seal Product Certification assures consumers that the product is constructed and formulated from safe materials, the product will hold up under normal usage conditions, and the claims listed on the packaging are backed by test data. Gold Seal Certification is valid for five years. At the conclusion of this period, each product must be re-tested to ensure continued compliance with the standard.
H. Martin Jessen, Vice President of Rayne Water explains, “Today’s consumers are looking for water treatment systems with the latest technology and versatile features that maximize efficiency while providing quality water just the way they want it – and at a price they can afford. Rayne Water offers a wide variety of water treatment systems, in a range of sizes and price points, that have earned the WQA Gold Seal due to their ability to meet or surpass high industry standards.”
Hard Water is a Serious Problem
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), 89.3% of US homes have hard water. That makes hard water the single most widespread water problem in American homes today. To check the approximate level of hardness in the US, see the map below.
The cost of hard water to the average home is staggering. Hard water reduces the effectiveness of soaps and detergents, leaves spots on dishes and counter surfaces and scale deposits around fixtures. Hard water also clogs pipes, water heaters and plumbing, and triggers dry itchy skin. A recent study at the Battelle Institute also documented that hard water increases the cost to heat water – the second biggest energy consumption in a home.
Rayne Water Softener Systems soften water; significantly reducing the amount of soap, detergents and cleaners used by as much as 80%. Soft water saves on hard water damage to plumbing, water heaters, and other major appliances, and actually increases their longevity.
Since 1928, Rayne has been providing customers with the most efficient water treatment products for homes and businesses with Rayne’s customer-friendly, “you call, we come” approach.
