TerraPower Explores Collaboration with CNNC for TWR Prototype Development
Bellevue, Wash. (PRWEB) September 23, 2015 -- TerraPower, LLC signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC).
This MOU is a significant milestone in our discussions and made possible under policies and agreements for cooperation by the governments of United States and China and allows opportunities to collaborate in a variety of ways.
The two companies plan to work together to complete the traveling wave reactor (TWR) design and commercialize TWR technology. Cooperation between TerraPower and CNNC will speed technology development, promote clean energy growth, and enable global economic growth in both countries.
