Bat 4 Hope Celebrity Softball Game to Benefit Children with Cancer
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- Charity events such as Bat 4 HOPE help graduates like Ahmed Nashaat to explore options for the future.
Ahmed Nashaat is soon to graduate with an M.B.A. and is trying to decide what he should do after that. He has decided that he would either like to start a non-profit agency or a small business, and to help him choose he is taking part in several different activities, such as small business expos and non-profit events. One upcoming non-profit event that Mr. Nashaat is looking forward to is the Adrian Gonzalez Bat 4 HOPE Celebrity Softball game to benefit cancer patients, which will be held at Dodger Stadium on Nov. 7 at noon.
The softball game will be hosted by Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and actress Eva Longoria and will benefit children and young adults with cancer. Ahmed Nashaat is happy to be a part of this event, which was organized by PADRES Contra El Cancer, a non-profit organization that has been around for over 30 years. The group works throughout Southern and Central California to improve the quality of life for children and young adults with cancer and their families. Proceeds from the game will benefit family bilingual cancer education plus quality of life and economic assistance programs.
“The Bat 4 HOPE Celebrity Softball game is a great chance for me to take part in a worthy event,” said Mr. Nashaat, “but it’s also events such as this that can help me to decide where my future will take me.”
The event will also include game merchandise sales, a silent auction and a celebrity picture and autograph hour with select celebrities. Advanced tickets are available.
