Kohler Waters Spa Burr Ridge Adds KOHLER Custom Vichy Shower – One of Only Three in Existence – to Further Enhance Hydrotherapy Experience

One of only three in existence and made by Kohler Co. exclusively for the spa, KOHLER Custom Vichy Shower provides a differentiating hydrotherapy experience.
Being installed in November, the KOHLER Custom Vichy Shower is a horizontal arm of water that houses six KOHLER WaterTiles, providing a constant showering of warm water in varying sequences throughout the service. The design of the KOHLER Custom Vichy Shower is sleek, modern and programmable using the KOHLER DTV (Digital Thermostatic Valve) Digital Interface to pre-program the service settings.
Two KOHLER Custom Vichy Showers currently reside in the flagship spa location at Destination Kohler, a five-star, five-diamond resort in Kohler, Wisconsin, also known for award-winning golf and recently having hosted the record-breaking 2015 PGA Championship. The product was created out of a desire to improve the Vichy experience and the Kohler Waters Spa team worked closely with engineers at Kohler Co. to create a unique product exclusive for the spa.

Mersberger goes on to add that with the KOHLER Custom Vichy Shower allows for the technicians’ hands to never leave the guest’s body. “We are able to program the WaterTiles digitally to cascade water throughout the service, so that our technicians have the maximum amount of time to massage, exfoliate and tend to the guest.” The DTV allows for programming the length of time water is flowing, the temperature, and most differentiating from other Vichy Showers, the ability to have one to all six WaterTiles cascading water at once. Other Vichy Showers do not allow for this versatility.
