Fitness Entrepreneurs Donate $151,000 Worth of Toys to Denver Charity
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) December 14, 2015 -- Bedros Keuilian and Craig Ballantyne, fitness industry experts, recently donated $151,000 in toys to Toys for Tots in Denver, Colorado to bring joy to disadvantaged children this holiday season. Bedros Keuilian is the founder and CEO of the fitness boot camp brand Fit Body Boot Camp. His longtime friend Craig Ballantyne is the creator of Turbulence Training and owns four of his own Fit Body Boot Camp locations.
Fit Body Boot Camp is the world’s fastest growing and most popular indoor fitness boot camp brand, with hundreds of locations worldwide. The boot camp’s unique brand of fitness combines individualized personal training from licensed professionals, clinically proven Afterburn workouts, and nutritional guidance to guarantee weight loss results.
The Denver branch of Toys for Tots has a history of struggle when it comes to collecting donations for annual events. Just two years ago, in 2013, they were about 30,000 toys short and struggled to complete large events where the gifts would be handed out. That is why Craig Ballantyne was so adamant about bringing as many toys as possible to the location.
Bedros Keuilian says, “It started, one year, with us literally going to Walmart and just grabbing as many toys as we could get off the shelves and bringing them to the Denver location. Then, the Marines offered to send a truck to make it easier for us, and now we’re able to donate over $150,000 in toys.”
The Denver Toys for Tots has been seeing quite a bit of kindness from the community as well. In October a local warehouse offered up rent-free space to keep all donations, saving the charity thousands of dollars that could go towards the kids they’re trying to help.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the US Marines where good Samaritans may donate unopened, unwrapped toys at various locations in the United States. All toys are donated to disadvantaged children who would otherwise not receive anything for the holidays.
Keuilian and Ballantyne will team up again to speak at Fitness Business Summit about networking and fitness industry marketing in Irvine, California in 2016.
