Visitors to HireRush.com don't need to register to post the ad. They leave a phone number or email address where they want to be contacted by customers or service providers. Visitors interested in an ad found on the website can then call a phone number provided by HireRush which will connect them to the person placing the ad.
"We've removed barriers such as site registration and the privacy concern of publishing direct phone numbers on the website," said Guts. "The idea is to help local service providers find work when and where they need it while protecting our users' privacy in ways traditional classified services don't."
Popular services sought and advertised on HireRush include handymen services, auto repair, cleaning, and moving services. Example services for the New York City market can be found at https://www.hirerush.com/NY:New_York/service.
To view ads in other cities, visitors can click the "Browse" link at the top of the website to choose a service or project type. They will then be presented with a selection of states where those services or projects are currently being advertised.
New ads for services or projects can be posted by clicking the "post free ad" button located at the top of the website, or by visiting https://www.hirerush.com/projects/add. Visitors will then be prompted to choose their ad type, post their ad details, and provide their contact information.
