xTuple Honors Two Top Partners for 2016
Norfolk, Virginia (USA) (PRWEB) October 18, 2016 -- The recent 2016 annual channel conference presented the opportunity for value-added resellers from around the world to collaborate with the xTuple open source community. Select channel partners received high praise for their enterprise resource planning (ERP) achievements over the past year.
xTuple worked with local handmade craftsmen, Norfolk Growler Company — also using xTuple ERP to run their startup business — to customize the ceramic company’s flagship 64 oz. beverage-keeper for a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
The overall Partner of the Year — Dan Means Memorial Award distinction was presented to Phil McIntosh of Southeastern U.S.-based Friendly Systems. The award honors a beloved partner and friend of xTuple who passed in 2014.
“We are as excited about xTuple today as the day we started. xTuple enables us to deliver a high quality ERP solution to our customers, one that is affordable and constantly evolving,” said award recipient Phil McIntosh as Friendly Systems enters their eighth year as a member of the xTuple partner program.
Rookie Partner of the Year — presented only semi-regularly dependent upon excellence exhibited by a newly joined consultancy — was presented to Ken Minx of Minx Consulting, Inc., located in Southern California.

We look forward to many years of success together,” said Danielle Kerner, director of partner channel development.
The annual PartnerCon is also the occasion — rare in the enterprise software industry — where channel members have direct access to xTuple’s software product developers and managers to help influence overall company direction to best serve customers.
This year's two-day agenda was filled with company intel on the future roadmap for development and show-and-tell of new and enhanced features such as:
xTupleCommerce — the ERP-integrated single-stack B2B (business-to-business) website technology to deliver simplified maintenance, greater agility over non-connected eCommerce as well as streamlined operations for manufacturers and distributors.
"xTuple Everywhere" — also referred to as "Hello World," this is xTuple's Internet of Things (IoT) offering to network physical hardware used by manufacturing and distribution customers to collect and exchange data in their ERP system.
xTuple University — the online center for xTuple ERP, CRM, Accounting and eCommerce documentation, including “insider tips” contributions from the community, delivered in formats such as how-to articles and video, frequently asked questions, and blog posts.
